After staying behind to finalize everything at our old home, Chad took 4 days to drive from California to Illinois. We were so happy to see him and Seamus when they finally arrived. He only had a few days until he started work, so we drove to Rantoul to spend time with Grandma Cheryl and Grandpa Leon. Riley and Micaela loved all the attention. Riley was happy to be on another farm with lots of space for running. She really enjoys the farm equipment and was disappointed to find out that the combine only comes out at harvest. She settled for a ride on the mule and driving the tractor instead. What a lucky girl!
