"So cute its scary"
Every now and then our TV mysteriously changes channels
She likes playing near the pumpkins
Bears vs. Bengals with our friends Lisa and Steve from Cincinnati. This game didn't end well for the Bears; we really aren't having fun when we invite our friends over for these football rivalry games.
Riley continues to try new foods. One of her latest is toast, which she really enjoys. However, I think she likes it because she has so much fun playing with the crumbs. She hasn't mastered the pincer grasp but scoops with her entire hand. She's very good at picking up dry foods but has a harder time with more slippery foods like little chunks of bananas. And they get very slippery after she squeezes them in her palm!
One of Riley's favorite times of day is when Chad gets home from work. She gets so excited as soon as she sees him, she kicks and smiles and reaches out for him. Then she has play time with Daddy, which is always more rough-and-tumble than play time with Mommy. They have a blast together.
Were always amazed at what Riley picks up. Chad was coughing one night, and after watching him for a while, Riley started making a coughing-type sound every time he coughed. She studies objects up and down and will turn her head to look at something from different angles. Chad says she's an engineer in the making (poor thing!).
