Twin pregnancy is so glamorous...but the maternity belt is helping so function over fashion
We went to the Georgia Pacific Company picnic and the girls were disappointed that the goody bags were full of paper products until they started to find alternative uses.
You can build towers
Or ride toilet paper around the house
Time to make Daddy breakfast in bed...Riley mixed the yogurt
Micaela sprinkled it with granola
Coffee, OJ and biscotti and daddy's breakfast tray is ready
Breakfast in bed for the birthday boy!
This happened as soon as he was finished
Earl came up for a surprise visit
A birthday toast
Its wonderful to celebrate with family...
...and friends
Of course he had help opening his big gift
A bike rack for the car since I'll be stranded with 4 kids if he takes the minivan
A fish turner for the grill and Chicago bears tumblers, perfect to take into work
It took a group effort to get all 40 candles onto the cake
And lots of help to blow them all out
Perhaps the best gift of all was this drawing by Riley...a Bear standing on top of a Packer with a score of 100-1, Bears win!
Today Daddy turned 40! He took the day off work so the girls and I made him breakfast in bed. This was Riley's idea and they were both so excited to do this for him they could hardly sleep the night and woke up very early, eager to get started. Then he did one of his favorite things and went biking. This gave the girls and I a chance to make his requested angel food cake with whipped cream and raspberries. He received a surprise visit from Earl and that evening we all went out for dinner. We gave Chad a bike rack that will attach to the car so he doesn't have to disassemble his bike to fit it in the trunk. I'm sure he'll find time to bike once the twins arrive.
