August 4, 2011 - Uncle Tom visits!

Claire and Riley

At Ardenwood farm each child is given popcorn at the end of Toddler Time. You can pop it right on the cob, very cool! And very tasty!

Here's your present, Zooey!

Zooey liked her gift. We made sure to pick one that made lots of noise as a thank you to the gifts we've received from Steve and Lisa over the years.

Sometimes independence in the potty leads to trouble.

As soon as we brought Great Uncle Tom home from the airport, Riley asked him to read to her.

Riley loved visiting with her Great Uncle Tom

What a great week. On Saturday we celebrated Zooey's 1st birthday. The girls enjoyed playing, swimming and eating cake and icecream. That afternoon we picked up Great Uncle Tom at the airport. The next day we all went into San Francisco, had lunch at the Ferry building and walked along Fisherman's Wharf to give Tom his first views of this iconic city. I felt like we walked all over SF, we were exhausted when we finally got home. Once again, Riley loved having a visitor and was constantly asking him to play with her or read to her. She hated seeing Uncle Tom leave, hopefully he will come back again soon!
