July 30, 2015 - Daddy's birthday and Girl Scout Camp

Tristan is 47 weeks old!

 Logan is 47 weeks old!

Daddy is 41 years old!

Lots of help blowing out the candles

Every year Chad chooses a different cake, he says it keeps me on my toes. This year it was a 4 layer carrot cake with vanilla bean cream cheese frosting

Still building legos

One of my friends who has twins and a lot of sympathy for how crazy our lives are right now brought her 13 year old daughter over to babysit all 4 kids so we could go out for a nice, adult dinner

Homemade presents are the best

Although distilled ones are also very good

More pool time

Tristan pulling out as many baby wipes as quickly as possible.

I was immediately reminded of a certain older sister (2010)

On to bus to Girl Scout day camp, day 1

Home and already picking up some new camp fashion trends

One day the older girls gave the younger girls a spa makeover

Gangsta Micaela

Thursday night is family campfire night at Girl Scout camp

She also chose to stay at camp on the optional overnight. She did great!

Caitlyn, our neighbor, was also at camp and kept an eye on Riley. It was great to have a friend, and she made many more

One day the entire camp went to the pool

Caitlyn showing Micaela around

Gaga ball was a camp favorite game

Still not interested in spoons

Let's help Mom with these beans...

...by spilling them all over the yard

Riley planted a single sunflower seed in a styrofoam cup during Children's Liturgy in the early spring and it is beautiful!

We celebrated Daddy's birthday with cake and a campout in the backyard. Our growing, loud family is so much fun, it felt like quite a party.

Riley went to Girl Scout camp this week. She was so excited to ride the bus since she doesn't get to ride one to school. It's a day camp that goes from 9 am - 4 pm so she had very full days. On Thursday we all got to explore the camp and enjoy some s'mores during family campfire time. That night Riley stayed for the optional overnight. She had a nice bunk bed in the lodge and had a really great night. I can't believe my little girl is old enough to spend the night at camp! We are very proud of her independence and confidence, which Daisy Scouts is helping her develop even further.
