Fairyland!
Her first ferris wheel ride. She was in a car with her brave 3-year-old friend Keegan but she wasn't too sure about this.
Not surprisingly, Snow White was her favorite. Riley gave her lots of hugs and kisses (although I'm not sure if this is a hug or pushing the other girl away from her idol)
More new adventures this week! Riley and I went to Fairyland which is a storybook park perfect for toddlers. The park has a few rides but is mostly figures and structures on which kids can play. She had a blast and ran around for hours until we were both exhausted. I had a lot of fun too, remembering all the stories and nursery rhymes. We went home and read some of them again and she talked about all we had seen. Its really fun to hear Riley recount our day to Daddy when he gets home. She has a great memory and its always interesting to hear what she enjoyed the most.
Sharing is very difficult at this age, but Riley thinks she has it figured out. She and another little girl were not sharing at all and were kept being told, "You need to share." Riley had a toy truck and the other girl had a doll that Riley wanted and Riley said, "Give that to me, you share!" Of course, she was not willing to give up her truck in return. We'll keep working on playing nicely.
This weekend we had a windy day so Daddy helped her fly a Cinderella kite, her first kite experience. She thought it was great. Of course, once it was in the air she wanted to hold the string but ran around in circles until she was all tangled up. It was fun for everyone.
