Her shoe obsession continues, she will wear any shoes she can get her hands on!

Popsicles are tasty!

Cutting cool shapes into our jello jigglers

The heart and star were too pretty to eat so she only snacked on the scraps.

Friday was Members Night at the Oakland Zoo. The zoo was opened from 5:30-8:30 pm (it usually closes at 4 pm) just for members. It was a fantastic experience! This was Chad's first visit so it was fun to show Daddy our favorite exhibits. The animals were much more active since it was evening so we observed activities we'd never seen before. They did special feedings which lured the animals closer to us and they were even more magnificent up close. A great family outing.

Another fun family activity...rock band. Chad and I had fun playing this game before baby and now we're happy to have another band member. Riley likes to play the guitar like Daddy or sing with Mommy. She also loves to dance and sometimes will just clap and dance. Who knew she was so talented?

We had some hot weather this week so we enjoyed playing on the water pad at a local park, swimming in a pool and eating popsicles. We also made jello jigglers and cut them into fun shapes. After all that work Riley refused to eat the shapes, she would only eat the scraps. Apparently she didn't want to ruin her works of art!
