Thurs. Mar. 19, 2015 - trying to catch those tricky leprechauns

Tristan is 28 weeks old!

See the toy Logan is holding? Guess who had it 5 seconds earlier

 Micaela's Leprechaun trap

Somehow that tricky Leprechaun stole the gold without getting caught! He dyed our milk green and left us Lucky Charms

Sometimes you end up with peas on your nose

For St. Patrick's Day we were assigned another family project to complete for kindergarten: creating a Leprechaun trap. Riley was given certain information, like Leprechauns like glittery, sparkly things and they are naughty and tend to disobey signs. We had a lot of fun designing her trap. Unfortunately Micaela set off the trap and poked through the tin foil the night before Riley was going to take it to school. I think sometimes Micaela feels left out that she doesn't have fun school projects and even though she helps with Riley's, they are not her own. We fixed Riley's trap and the next day Micaela and I made a trap that she designed and set it on the kitchen table, hoping to trap a Leprechaun. But they are tricky little guys and Micaela's at home and Riley's at school were both set without catching one. He was nice and left us Lucky Charms, a special breakfast treat. But he was also naughty and dyed our milk green. What a fun St. Patrick's Day!
