Riley wanted to help set the table; she decided we would eat on tupperware. All of our tupperware.

We had an awesome Halloween. Riley loves pumpkins and we somehow ended up with too many to carve. We did 4 pumpkins, 1 for each member of our family. Baby Freese #2 had a mini pumpkin, I was very impressed that Chad could carve something so small.

Riley was thrilled to finally dress up as a witch. Great Grandma Jean made her a beautiful glittering black gown that fit her perfectly and was absolutely adorable. She was quite the little actress, cackling and casting spells.

On Monday we joined our friends Dave and Kellie Vahlsing and their kids, Dean (5) and Kaitlyn (almost 2) for dinner and trick-or--treating. They live in a safe, family-friendly neighborhood and it was fun to spend the holiday as a group. I stayed at the house with Dave to pass out candy while Chad and Kellie took the girls trick-or-treating. Dean went with another friend, he couldn't wait on the toddlers. I couldn't believe it but the little girls went to houses for 1.5 hours! They absolutely loved it. Riley's pumpkin was completely full and heavy but she wouldn't allow Daddy to help her carry it. She had a great time and slept really well that night.
