What a great week. Riley started Soccer for Tots on Saturday. Its a Mommy/Daddy and Me class that requires 1 parent per child, like the gymnastics class that we enjoyed so much. Chad was very excited to participate in this one and I tagged along to the first class to watch. They began running to colored flags according to an order given to each tot. Then they dribbling the ball to each flag; Riley preferred to carry her ball. At the end of class each child got to kick the ball into the goal. Riley loved it, she didn't want to leave so she stayed after class to help put away all the balls. I think this is going to be a really fun activity.

On Sunday we met our friends the Winchells at the zoo. It was a beautiful day and Riley enjoyed showing little Zooey her favorite animals.

Unfortunately, another week, another business trip for Chad. Riley has figured out the pattern and when he pulled out his suitcase to pack, she became very upset. That night she cried and wouldn't go to bed until Chad rocked her to sleep. I've kept us very busy while he's gone but she's still asking for Daddy. She'll be so happy to see him in the morning!
