This weekend we went to Tahoe for some relaxation and fun in the snow. It snowed while we were hiked to Lake Tahoe on Saturday and Riley really enjoyed watching it come down from the sky. She couldn't quite figure out why she couldn't catch the flakes, but she sure tried! On Sunday we went showshoeing and got some fantastic views of the mountains, other small lakes, and snow-covered meadows. We love weekends like this one.

The only glitch in the trip is that Riley did not sleep well. She had a difficult time settling down at night and woke up several times. She's not the greatest sleeper and seems to be getting more and more particular about where she sleeps. We just try to help her feel comfortable and safe wherever we go and hopefully she'll learn to sleep better in new places. She really loves all the activities and other aspects of our trips which is great because we have lots more in our future!
