Dec. 8, 2016 - Micaela's bday party (yes, the celebrations continue)

Everyone helps carry the chosen tree

Its birthday party time! Micaela, her friend Will, Tristan and Logan in one of the many bouncy houses at Monkey Joe's

 A giant slide

 Sophie, Micaela, Riley and Will

 Jumping

 Amelia and Craig

 The twins loved it

 Plus there were games

Then we went back to our house for pizza...

...and a Shopkin cake!

 Micaela has some wonderful friends

 Time for gifts

St. Nicholas Day, which is widely celebrated in our local area, is Dec. 6. He visited the night before and somehow managed to sneak filled stockings under the tree in the girls' room.

The girls were very excited to find their stockings

 Darth Vader!

Boys, the train tables are for running trains, not for sitting.

These 2 will battle with anything; in this case, bottle cleaners that I forgot we even had.

 It usually ends like this.

 Our star gymnast

Micaela loves to weave potholders.

Micaela finished her birthday celebrations with a party with her friends at a bouncy house place called Monkey Joe's. She had a great time jumping and sliding with her friends. After 1.5 hours of bouncing the kids got tired so we went back to our house for pizza, cake and presents.

We are so proud of our little Micaela. She is incredibly sharp and truly enjoys learning. We are constantly amazed at how quickly she learns and understands new concepts. She has a strong mothering instinct and is always taking care of her little brothers, helping them get dressed up teaching them new games. Micaela is extremely fashionable and knows exactly what she wants to wear every day; some days, its a spaghetti strap dress in January. She is also excellent at testing boundaries and on more than one occasion we have been told, "That one will give you trouble." She just might, but she will always be our sweet little Mics.
